After thinking about it I think you should probably take Dectective Whitte. I can't seem to come up with anything really interesting for him and I know you'd do so much better. So, I guess that leaves me with Chase. I'm going to find some information about him and hopefully I won't mess him up. Thank you very much for letting me join.

Alrighty then. Chase is all yours, I'll try to come up with something for Whitte. I'll see you around. EDIT: Now that I remembered, Andy, I hope its not too late, I could do all the digging for you. Then all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the RP, no work needed. Its up to you, though.

Thank you very much. I'll do my best on Chase. I think this is going to be really great.
It's not to late at all. If you don't mind doing that I'd really appreciate it. I haven't gotten a chance to go digging yet. I was going to do that tonight. But, if you don't mind it would be really helpful to me.
Edit: I just realized I had a pretty horrible spelling mistake in there. Sorry about that.

Doctor Robert Chase is the longest serving member of House's Staff, despite being rather young. Supposedly 26 at the start of the show, he claims he's 30 by the second season. He specializes in intensive care. Chase is rather attached to his job as is willing to go to extreme lengths to protect it and his boss. His attachment leads to him being frequently call an 'ass kisser' by House. However, despite the abuse House throws at him, he is always ready to defend House except for one incident dealing with the Chief of Staff Edward Volger, where he leaked the details about House's illegal operation. House early on mentions that he was only hired because his father made a phone call, but later would say (In a hallucination) that he wouldn't have hired him if he wasn't smart. His back and forth relationship with House is rather unsteady, admiring House one moment, despising him the next. Of all of the characters, Chase seems to be the one with the biggest soft spot for children- kissing a dying 9 year-old girl, praying while doing an autopsy on a child he failed to save, and pretending to pull an 'alien microchip' out of a child's head to make him feel safer. Chase has been described as very religious, often saying a prayer when things are going down-hill or when a patient has died. In fact he reveals in one episode that he even attended as seminary, while quoting 1 Peter 1:7. Throughout the show Chase has had a rough relationship with his father, starting when he left him with his alcoholic mother 10-15 years before the show. Chase never saw the light in his father until he died from lung cancer. The last time he saw him was in a bar where Chase offered him a drink. His father simply refused and left Chase alone without telling him of his condition. Chase had a very brief yet intimate relationship with Cameron during the show. However Cameron felt that she was "Over with him" and left him immediately. As of recently they consider their friendship "Just friendship... but with benifits...". Despite her denial, Chase still presses on, asking her out every tuesday...
There, I hope that helps give you at least the tiniest insight into Chase's character. If you need more, let me know. Once you think that you're ready, I'll start up the RP.

Profile with the offer of more help in the future, bonus. Thank you very much. It gives me a lot to work with. I think that hopefully I can make Chase work. I like the fact that he continues to ask Cameron out every Tuesday although, with this being a House and Cameron pairing role play I may not do that to much.

Heh, no problem. As for the Chase/ Cameron thing, it doesn't matter how big the shipping is with her and House, House almost never shows emotion. So the date thing could still work, but if you want to dump it, its your choice, he's your character. You've got to remember too, House spends a majority of this RP in the hospital and on the run from Whitte. In the end its all up to you.

Well, I think I would probably have him try a few times. Although, if she didn't respond I would probably have him do it less and less and finally stop. I really look forwad to getting involved in this role play.

Sounds like a plan to me. Just in case you missed the PM, the RP is up. Check out the sub-board in this section. I hope to see you there!
