Doctor Gregory House
The slight whoosh of the sliding doors woke House from his last minute half-slumber. Apparently working all night long was starting to get to him.
"Doctor House, I don't know how I can repay you and your team. I mean...you saved my little girl's life."
House let out a small smile, pretending to yawn, somehow trying to cover it up.
"Well, you can start by stop acting like I saved the world."
"But you saved her."
"That's great, that's my job. Something happens to someone, they come in here, I either save them...or kill them..."
"Right."
As the girl's mother helped her daughter into the car, House turned around and headed for his office. He couldn't be seen not being miserable, besides he had to hide from Cuddy somewhere...
Detective Shaun Whitte
As Detective Whitte stepped out of the black Mercedes and entered the Princeton- Plainsboro teaching hospital he immediately knew that something was wrong. His newest case, a supposed Gregory House had already stepped into the elevator and left.
"Dammit."
Another doctor stopped him in his tracks.
"Can I help you?"
"Yeah, I'm looking for Doctor House?"
"Oh, running from you is he? What do you need to see him for?"
"I'm with the New Jersey police department, I need to talk with him."
"I already told you guys, he's innocent. If you missed his big day in court, I'm sorry."
"No, this is for something else. What's your name."
"Oh. I'm Eric Foreman. If you want to talk with House, you should go see Doctor Cuddy. Of course, to do that you need to talk with the nurse, over there."
"Oh, alright, thank you."
Detective Whitte left him and headed off to the Nurse's Station Foreman had pointed to, making a mental note to do a backround check on him, he wouldn't leave any idea for scrap...

Doctor Lisa Cuddy
Doctor Cuddy sat at her desk catching up on some last second paper work that Doctor House had left for her. Why was it that House always left the paper work to fall on someone else mainly her she could never understand. She moved a strand of hair from her face as she signed her name for the sixteenth time.
Doctor Allison Cameron
Doctor Cameron walked down the hallway carrying some files to the nearby Nurses' station. As she stopped at the desk she noticed a man that she had never seen before standing there. She quickly looked away and started talking to a nearby nurse.
" I have some charts that need to be filed."
She spoke the same words that she did most every time she appeared at this station.
" Do you want them under perminate or partial?"
The nurse spoke the equally well known phrase.
" 316 is the only one to be filed under partial."
" Okay. Is there anything else Doctor?"
The nurse was bored and it was almost obvious.
" That's it. Thanks."
She smiled politely and turned to leave.

Doctor Gregory House
House grabbed the over sized tennis ball from his desk and tossed it against the wall. After it knocked over his telephone, he picked up the handset and dialed Cuddy's extension, hoping that she was in her office, filing paperwork or something.
His attention was then brought to the small clock sitting on his desk.
4:58 PM
He smiled before popping another Vicodin. It was time to go home. He left the phone off of its cradle. As he grabbed his cane and walked out the door he remembered his 'simple' dinner with Stacy. Why he even agreed to meet with her at the Stiletto, or even meet with her at all was beyond him. Unannounced, he strode into the parking lot, ignoring Cameron, the nurse, and the strange man standing in the lobby.
"Hey!"
House set his cane on its rack before mounting his motorcycle. As he started it up, the man stood beside him.
"Can I help you?" House asked slipping on a pair of cheap sunglasses
"Did you know that a majority of motorcycle deaths are due to the fact that people choose not to wear helmets?"
House looked up. "Well you're not my mother...at least I hope you're not. What do you really want?"
The man placed his hand on his hip, as to show House his badge, not to mention his gun.
"I'm detective Shaun Whitte with the New Jersey police department. You doctor House, are wanted on a charge of drug trafficking and resisting arrest."
"Well I went to court for the dealing charge...and I wasn't resisting arrest, I was merely avoiding a nice little ticket..."
"Either way, House. You owe the state."
"Yeah...sorry. I have a date."
House, without looking behind him drove off. Detective Whitte didn't follow.

Doctor Lisa Cuddy
Dr.Lisa Cuddy's phone rang she picked it up as she glanced at the clock.
4:58 PM
"Doctor Lisa Cuddy."
She answered in her professional voice. There was small clunk and no answer.
"Hello?"
She waited and still no answer. She hung up her phone. She couldn't shake the feeling that something weird was happening.
Doctor Allison Cameron
Dr.Cameron saw House coming. She turned to say something to him when he just ignored her. She followed him as far as the parking lot when that strange man spoke to him. It sent a shiver down her spine.
"House."
She started to call out, but he just sped away.

Doctor Gregory HouseHouse sped away, letting the loose turns of the surprisingly almost empty highway take him. For a while it was just him and the machine. "Hey watch it, man!" House looked back at the small passenger car he had cut off. Simply choosing to flip the man an offensive gesture before speeding back up again. As the motorcycle quickly gained speed again, taking him way over the speed limit, he was suprised to be cut off by the man he had cut off just moments earlier. Things seemed to move in slow motion for House. He slammed on the brakes, forgetting to shift down into lower gears, slowing the bike down faster than normal; the bike was groaning now. Then he stopped. He wasn't in an accident, he couldn't believe it. He pulled off to the side of the highway, dodging several cars back over to the divider. The small red passenger car was pulled over, the man outside. "Heh, look man, I'm sorry. I suppose I thought a bit irrationally." House said nothing, coming closer until he stared the man in the eyes, gripping his cane tightly. "Right." House grabbed the cane with both of his hands, then swung up toward the man's groin. As he doubled over House didn't hesitate to hit the man in the groin once more. Without saying another thing House limped back over to his motorcycle, started the beat up machine once more and drove back off in the direction of the Stiletto. Detective Shaun WhitteDetective Whitte looked at the woman who had tried to run after House. He spoke up. "Hello there, the name's Shaun Whitte. I'm with the New Jersey police department. I'm assuming you know Doctor House?" Whitte let the question hang as his cell phone vibrated in his pocket. "Excuse me." Whitte went back into the car, came back, handing the woman a small business card. "I'll call you tonight." He turned his attention back to the phone as he walked into the hospital once more, standing at a small line at the Nurse's Station. "What is it?" "Sir, we lost House." "Dammit!" Whitte's yell was easily heard through out the lobby. "We'll get him latter, pull out." "Yessir." Whitte put his phone away, surprised to be in the front of the line now. "How can I help you?" the nurse at the desk asked, looking rather startled "Oh...yeah." Whitte flashed his badge again "I with the New Jersey poice department. I need to speak with Doctor Cuddy." "Oh dear, what's she done?" "Nothing, its about Doctor House." "Jesus, again?! Alright fine. Shelly over here will take her to you." "Thanks." Whitte followed the nurse all the way up to Cuddy's office. She left and he slowly knocked on the door, eager to possibly bring in this Doctor House. OOC: I hope that moved things along... EOOC

Doctor Lisa Cuddy
Doctor Cuddy was interrupted from her thoughts by a knock on the door. She got up from behind her desk straightening her blouse. She remembered House once making a comment on that this blouse was inappropriate for the work place, but there may not be any of her outfits that he hadn't remarked about. She walked to the door and pulled it open to reveal a man that she had never met before.
"Can I help you?"
She spoke in a professional tone as always, but there was something about this man that made her want to ask him into her office for a friendly chat.
Doctor Allison Cameron
Doctor Cameron found herself being confronted by the man that was talking to House. She heard his question and started to answer.
"Uhh, y-- "
She was interrupted by the man's phone. She then received a small business card. She heard him say "I'll call you tonight." How did he know her number? Who was he? Thoughts flew around in her mind until they were interrupted by the man's outburst. That jerked her back to the real world. She causally walked the opposite direction of Cuddy's office and ran straight into Forman by accident.
"Oh! I'm sorry."
She apologized dropping the business card. She seemed spooked much like a deer in the headlights of a large truck.
"I didn't see you there."

Detective Shaun Whitte
"Yes, you can actually." Whitte smiled at this Doctor Cuddy "I'm Detective Shaun Whitte with the New Jersey police department. I'm hear to talk to you about a man you have employed here, Doctor House I think his name is."
Whitte quickly flashed his badge before speaking back up.
"Anyhow, you wouldn't happen to know when he'll be back would you?"
Doctor Eric Foreman
Foreman picked the business card up from the ground, reading it before handing it back to Cameron. For a moment he almost feared that this Detective Whitte was coming for him, but he served his time and he knew it.
"You alright?"
Doctor Gregory House
House looked across the table toward Stacy, he sighed, twirling his cane with his left hand.
"Stacy."
"Greg."
"About Mark, do you really love him?" He wanted to slap himself for the question. Stacy was gone, he loved Cameron. End. Of. Story.
"Damn it, Greg! Its over, you know it."
"No, honestly, Stacy." His blue eyes actually showed emotion for once, pain and sorrow this time. "I mean, do you really love him?"
Stacy's face suddenly drooped. "Well, he can be an ass sometimes...but yes, I do love him, Greg."
"That's what I thought."
He remembered why he had come to meet with Stacy now. He snatched up his cane and left the Stiletto.
Climbing onto his motorcycle, he couldn't help but think that something was wrong. Regardless, he pushed Stacy out of his mind and drove off. Still, the feeling made its way back, leaving House to just ride on and slowly rot in his own guilt.
